DR. Elvin Witmer, MD  

Board Certified Family Practice

Elvin Witmer has been a Family Physician for 35 years.

He was born onto a dairy farm in eastern Ohio and farmed while obtaining a bachelor's degree in chemistry at Youngstown State University.

He then attended medical school at Ohio State University and graduated to a Family Medicine residency in eastern Pennsylvania at Lancaster General Hospital. Some special interests in training included a rotation in Epidemiology at The University of Western Ontario and high-risk Obstetrics in Torrance, California.

Following training he spent 10 years working for a company that brokered his services across the United States in 18 states. Services included emergency rooms, hospital Internal Medicine, rehab services, Sports Medicine, and multiple sites with ambulatory Family Practice.

In 2000 he settled in Western New York and raised 3 sons with his wife. Interests outside of Medicine include bicycling, some weightlifting, and multiple spectator sports. He continues to have an interest in farming with his cousin and gets back to the family farm in Ohio regularly. He greets the Spring every year with the intention of growing 20 perfect tomato plants with bunches and bunches of basil.

Reading is his biggest pastime: Physics and Chemistry will always be the core interests along with some History, Economics, and all types of fiction.

Janele Storms, FNP-BC  

Janele was born and raised in Buffalo. She graduated from Trocaire College in 2016 with an associate degree in nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. In 2017, while completing her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Daemen College she worked as a bedside nurse in acute care. Janele then went on to obtain her Master of Science in nursing to earn the title of Family Nurse Practitioner at D'Youville University in 2019.

Janele has been working at Lakeshore Primary Care Associates as a NP for 4 years. When she isn't working Janele enjoys reading, running and spending time outdoors.

Jenna Richey, ANP

Jenna was bord and raised in Kenmore, NY. She attended Daemen College, receiving the title of Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing medicine since 2018 and has been with Lakeshore Primary Care Associates since 2022.

In her free time Jenna enjoys reading, hiking and traveling.
